Why Taghazout Is Different
While Agadir offers classic desert quad biking, Taghazout delivers something far more diverse. Located 25km north of Agadir, this former fishing village has become Morocco's surf capital — and its surrounding terrain is a playground for quad bikers.
The Taghazout Quad Route
The 3-hour, 60km route takes you through three distinct landscapes:
1. The Mountain Ascent
You'll start by climbing the foothills of the Anti-Atlas mountains. The trail winds through rocky terrain with switchbacks and elevation changes that test your riding skills. At the top, you'll stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the entire Souss-Massa region.
2. The Desert Plateau
After the mountains, you'll descend onto a vast desert plateau. This is where you can open up the throttle and feel the speed. The flat, sandy terrain is perfect for beginners to build confidence.
3. The Coastal Finish
The final leg follows the Atlantic coastline. You'll ride along clifftop paths with waves crashing below, passing through small fishing villages and argan tree forests.
Schedule and Departures

What Makes This Route Special

Who Is This For?
Taghazout quad biking is ideal for riders who want more than just desert sand. If you enjoy variety in terrain and scenery, this is the route for you. Some basic riding experience helps, but beginners are welcome with the training session included.
